Aaron S. Emery is a Connecticut-based children’s author and the creator of the Max, Ava, and Cash Adventure series. His stories are filled with friendship, courage, inclusion, and the unshakable belief that every child can explore the world, make a difference, and chase big dreams.
Aaron’s writing is deeply personal. The character of Max reflects Aaron’s own experiences navigating life after losing his sight, while Ava is inspired by his oldest sister, who uses a wheelchair. Together with Cash—modeled after Aaron’s loyal real-life dog—these adventurers remind young readers that a disability is only one part of a person’s story, never a limit on what they can achieve.
